Through study, discussion, practice teaching, and self inquiry, your personal transformation beings with yoga teacher training at Disko Yoga School. Our training programs are designed to challenge your limiting beliefs, empower you be the creator of your life experience, help you gain confidence in yourself as a leader, and give you the tools and skills to teach the transformative practice of yoga.

Currently, we offer weekend teacher trainings to make our trainings more accessible for all working schedules and give time between each training weekend to really let the concepts land as you live your yoga.

Yoga Alliance 200 and 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training at DISKO YOGA SCHOOL

  • Our trainings are broken up into weekends to accommodate more schedules and allow concepts time to sink in between trainings. You will get your official manual & your weekend schedule closer to the program start. Weekends will vary, but you can generally expect to need to be available during these time frames. Always defer to your program lead & training manual.

2. EMPOWERED TEACHER - $1,495 ($1,275 early bird pricing)

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Yoga ethics, business, and professionalism. Introductory hands on assists, teaching beginners and seasoned yogis in the same class,how to empower and inspire students using your unique voice, experiences, & teaching style,introductoryembodied anatomy, alignment, modifications, and special considerations, teaching breath to movement, class theming, and SO much more!

Required texts & materials

Registered trainees will receive a welcome email with all required texts and materials. However you will need the following for the entire duration of the program:

  • Water bottle

  • Sweat towel

  • Sunscreen

  • Change of yoga clothes during training days

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

The Business of Yoga, Private sessions, couples/partner yoga, Stand-Up Paddle Board Yoga, Yoga/Fitness Fusion, Prenatal, and more! We will also explore how to build, market, and teach workshops and other special events to diversify your teaching and create multiple streams of income in your yoga business.

2. MIND BODY MEDICINE MODULE $1,766 ($1,666 early bird pricing)

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Mindfulness, Meditation, Self Inquiry and the neurological connection between yoga and the brain. We will have Doctoral guest educators in neuroscience as well as yoga for anxiety and stress-reduction. Workshops on Yoga Nidra, Breathwork (Pranayama), Ayurveda, and Women's Health.

3. ADVANCED EMBODIED $1,766 ($1,666 early bird pricing)

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

Anatomy intensive with Dr. Justine Roper, Spinal health for movement educators, advanced transitions arm balances & inversions, Hands on assists/adjustments, consent, and the trauma informed perspective.
