INFERNO HOT PILATES

Inferno Hot Pilates gives you the workout you crave with the therapeutic benefits your body needs.

Strength, cardio, flexibility, stamina, control, determination, perseverance, confidence. You will gain ALL of these qualities (and then some!) when you take our Inferno Hot Pilates classes.

This high intensity, low impact class based around Pilates Principles will strengthen your core and transform your body. Practicing this class produces fast results in both how you look and how you feel. Develop real strength, tone your stomach, legs, and arms, and get a low impact cardio workout all in one class.

This class is full body but it gives special attention to strengthening your backside - which is largely under activated.

Glutes are our powerhouse muscles, playing a part in almost every major movement of the body. Desk jobs, poor postures, injuries and inactivity can lead to tight hip flexors and weakened and lengthened glutes, a phenomenon known as “glute amnesia.” Weak or inactive glutes can lead to back pain, hip and knee instability and pain as the rest of the body makes up for this phenomenon.

It’s not a coincidence that our Inferno Hot Pilates class starts with several rounds of bridges, from varying angles of feet and knee positions, that build a well-rounded set of glute muscles!

It’s not uncommon to hear an IHP practitioner not only notice increased core strength, endurance, and energy, but also relief from back and knee pain.

Studio Guidelines:

1. We begin class right on time and cannot admit students into the studio after class has already started. Also note that we lock the front door after class has begun.

2. We love full classes! But they do require a little more organization. In the event your class is full, your teacher may direct you as to where to lay your mat or ask you to move over to make room for a fellow yogi.

3. Please avoid chatting with friends/fellow yogis after your class has already begun so that you and your fellow classmates can reap the benefits of a focused practice.

4. Please wait until all of the students from the previous class has exited the studio room before entering to set up.

5. We recommend you bring your own mat but we do have some entry level mats available for rental.

6. Blocks, weights, bolsters, blankets, and straps are available for your use in the yoga room. Please wipe down any loaners before putting them back. If you need assistance, your teacher is here to help.

7. Please leave shoes and bagged belongings in your locker or in the boutique area.

8. For your safety, weights are not permitted during non-weighted classes and sessions. Please see your teacher for instruction on what props you will need for class.
